Greg Cederlof, MSOD, is a leadership & OD consultant who has enabled a wide range of individuals, teams, business units and organizations to identify barriers to effectiveness and opportunities for enhanced performance and results. Greg’s background includes over twenty years of diversified organization development, training, and human resources management experience. He has worked inside major financial services corporations and has brought unique perspectives and solutions to a wide variety of organizations as an external consultant. His primary areas of expertise include: organization development, management & leadership development, team development, diversity, change leadership, group facilitation, customer relations, and corporate communications. He has served clients in the Telecommunications, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy/Utilities, Government, Pharmaceuticals, Transportation, and Non-profit sectors.
Before launching his leadership and OD consulting practice in 1997, Greg served on the leadership team for HR at CoreStates Financial. As VP, Change Management Strategies and Development, he led teams to design and deliver HR/OD products and services aimed at culture change and enhancing organizational performance, including: a new performance management system, organization-wide 360 feedback tools, merger “re-recruitment” strategies, culture change strategies, customer service and quality initiatives, executive leadership continuity strategies, senior leadership team development & strategic planning labs, and a Human Resources Development Curriculum. Prior to CoreStates Financial, Greg had a successful career with Meridian Bancorp, holding several management positions of increasing responsibility, including: HR Chief of Staff, Strategic Projects Manager, AVP of Cultural & Organizational Development, Management Development Specialist, Regional Training & Development Manager, Customer Relations Program Mgr, and Corporate Trainer.
As a consultant, coach and trainer, Greg is known for working collaboratively with clients and client groups to gain a clear understanding of their business strengths and development needs, in order to help them identify opportunities to enhance current organizational, team, and individual performance. He is dedicated to facilitating specific solutions to current concerns and fostering a commitment to building internal capacity. For larger projects, he affiliates with a strong network of associates, who complement his background, style and expertise, to deliver exceptional results. He combines his passion for leadership, communication & team dynamics with his practical knowledge and experience to consistently receive outstanding marks from clients and participants for his expertise and engaging delivery style.
A life long learner, Greg completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Business from the University of Pittsburgh and his Master of Science in Organization Development from the American University, Washington, DC. He has also completed graduate studies in Human Resources Management and Instructional Systems Design & Development. Greg is certified to deliver a variety of learning instruments, including: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI), and the DiSC Classic Personal Profile System.
